Hence with a single product, the entire institution can be managed, reducing the investment in multiple software and their maintenance. Facility for Managing Multiple Schools EdSys is designed to centrally collate information about multiple schools. Through this centralized management of revenue and expenditure is made possible. In addition collated student and teacher information can also be accessed centrally. This facilitates a uniform system in multiple schools and hence centralized management and ease of control. Easy, User dependent configuration EdSys is a configuration dependent system Configurations can be carried out by the users with ease without the requirement of any technical knowledge. The built in context sensitive menu helps in configuring the system without errors. This eliminates the collaboration between the technical person and subject matter experts for effecting the configuration. Single Point Data entry EdSys is designed to accept data only once. The same data is used in all services across the system. This eliminates the need for repeated data entry and hence reduces manpower and errors in data. Centralized control and decentralized Operation EdSys has the facility to control / monitor all operations centrally. With appropriate authorization this can be subdivided for the subdivision of work. All operations come under services and are carried out by the respective service administrators or the person allocated to the service. This helps in tight control over the multifarious operations of EdSys with minimum resources. Differentiated Portals based on authorization EdSys provides for interaction with the system using individual portals. The users of the system have varying responsibilities / services assigned to them by the administrator. Each user portal will have content according to the authorized services. No user will be able to access services, not assigned to them. The business therefore has greater security and lower learning time as each user needs to understand only what is allocated to them. Multiple Rule creation Facility EdSys facilitates multiple methods for the consolidation of marks obtained by students. These are as per rules set by the evaluation administrator. These rules can be rolled out with a differentiation of course and grade. The subject teacher is given the authorization to choose a rule for an internal assessment activity. The multiple rules enable a vast spectrum of evaluation methods and the centralized roll out brings uniformity of evaluation.		Low Maintenance & Operation cost EdSys has a very easy software installation and maintenance process. All software codes and processes are standardized so that bug fixing is easy. The system can be maintained through dial- up access reducing cost and minimizing down time. Follows the SIF standards EdSys follows the SIF (School inter operability framework) standards to enable inter school data transfers and consolidation of data at a central location. In case of fee receipt printing, EdSys has an independent printing software, which provides high-speed printing in DOS mode. This reduces the total time for printing where a large number of items need to be printed.
