The seamless integration amongst the Internet, Mobile - SMS and Telephone (POT - Plain Old telephone) has become the order of the day and interoperability a requirement. Webyfy has therefore created interfacing systems for WTalk to interact with different systems for information exchange and processing.
WTalk is designed to interact with external Systems seamlessly. WTalk can connect with external systems in two different ways namely: DCOM and SOAP with a hybrid method.
The system can update and retrieve data from an external database. This database can be accessed /viewed by users using a web browser through internet by delivered from a web server. Any changes such as data updates, configuration changes can be effected through a web interface and be reflected in the IVR system and vice versa.
WTalk can interact with a Fax system through its CTI Hardware or to a specifically established Fax communication system. The faxes can be predefined in standard formats and sent as per defined rules or according to the instructions of a user interacting with the IVR system.
WTalk can also send SMS messages through a predefined SMS gateway or a computer port connected to a GSM transmission device.
WTalk has built in APIs to initiate sending of emails as per predefined layout and dynamic content. This means that each mail can be different according to the demand / authorization of the User.
WTalk has built in APIs to configure the communication with external systems. This makes the effort and time required for creation of additional software minimal. WTalk also comes with sample codes and instruction sets to write interfacing software to communicate with external systems that may be local or remote (through the web - normal or secure communications). This is the most significant external system integration aspect of WTalk.
