WTalk is designed as a process enabler with little or no need of additional software development. The business logic and processes can be impressed with ease. The Activation File that represents the business logic can easily be created using a web interface and built in tools. The system has two major systems. They are: the Web based Activation File creation Engine which can be hosted as a web portal and the WTalk Execution Engine that resides in the computer having the CTI hardware.
The development of WTalk is carried out with Microsoft technologies. The CTI Hardware is from E-icon - Dialogic. The system with Windows 200 server can be used to run the WTalk engine.. It does not need Microsoft Speech Server or any such software. The only additional software required is the TTS and ASR software from the respective third party supplier to be decided by the customer.

The WTalk process Execution architecture is shown below. The Activation Files created using the web based system are transferred to the WTalk engine. The engine in turn interacts with an external system using predefined APIs. The WTalk engine is capable of distributed process control with external systems. Built in APIs or custom APIs can be used. WTalk execution engine communicates with external systems using both DCOM and SOAP methodologies.
