In WHIRE various activities are clustered as services and they can be assigned to users. The access to all activities, information etc is through the Personal Portal of the respective user. The content of the portal will vary for each user , due to differences in authorizations of services, This ensures data security and access restriction.

Recruitment Manager carries out the Enterprise recruitment activities.

 Individual portal Each user has personal portal and the content depends on the authorization of the user. All activities, communications, and information are accessed through the portal.
 Multi language enabled WHire is multi language enabled. The user interface, language and the data entry language can be different. All languages that are UTF-8 complaint are accepted by the system - presently about 650 languages.
 Configurable work flows All workflows are configurable and there is no limit to the number of independent workflows that can be configured for an activity.
 Configurable processes The activities can be configured to suite the processes in an organization. This is done through configuration screens.
